day 177. [rematch]

Remember that game I told you I beat Kyle in on Friday? Well, we played it again today for a rematch. Some rematch ... I won ... again.


Guess it's not beginner's luck after all ;)

day 176. [walker!]

I was doing my homework and laundry this morning/afternoon, but then my favorite freshman asked me if I wanted to join him at the basketball game. I did, haha. I'm so easily distracted it's not even funny anymore :'(

I should also mention, this was the first Womens' Basketball Game I've been to and I must say that it was exciting!

PS. I've had favorite freshman since I was a favorite freshman in high school, so I figured I should keep it up :)

day 175. [night in]

Tonight was one of those Friday's where you just felt like staying in. The staying in was also accompanied by plans that fell through the roof. Nonetheless I made use of staying in tonight.

I did my laundry. The whites that is. I'll end up doing the colors tomorrow :)

I think the best part though was getting to hangout with Kyle tonight. We watched a few movies, which I can say that I stayed awake for all of them. Yeah, that's right! I watched a two movies from beginning to end without falling asleep. That was due to the fact that I took a nap for a good half hour while in his room.

If you read this Kyle, the nap was much needed. I know you'll agree because you needed the nap as well ;)

Other than that though we played a few card games. I forget how competitive I can get with even just card games ... whoops.

To close the night off, Kyle taught me this new game called "10,000." It's a dice game. I won. Talk about beginner's luck :)

So yeah, that was my Friday. Not too shabby if I say so myself.

day 174. [christie pub]

My bestie, Sarah Boomer, and I were going to perform Samson by Regina Spektor at Christie Pub. My question for you all is:

What are the odds that the group before you would perform the exact same song?

Well, let me tell you. The odds were pretty high, in fact the odds were in the favor of the group before us. We didn't get to perform it for Christie Pub, BUT we were able to perform it for Cafe Procrastinae ;)

day 173. [walking]

Sometimes when we want to take a study break, or if I'm just too stressed out, Kyle and I go on a walk. It wasn't any different when we went on this walk, other than the fact that it was raining and I had to borrow one of his jackets.

Note to self: Just because you're from WA doesn't mean you can leave all of your rain jackets at home. Especially when those rain jackets are pretty awesome looking :)

day 172. [god]

I get frustrated over the smallest things. I have people in my life to remind me that I serve a God that is so much bigger than anything I'll ever face. I serve a God that brings comfort into this life of mine.

Our God is stronger.

day 171. [one month]

So, if you haven't realized, every 15th is a self-portrait of me. This one shows off the haircut, the fact I shaved, and the fact that I'm wearing one of the two new shirts I bought as well as the flannel.
