day 156. [halloween]

Halloween weekend was a good one. That's all I can honestly say, haha.

If you haven't tripped over jealousy yet, it's because you obviously haven't met my bestie Sarah Boomer. I mean, who wouldn't trip over jealousy when you've got personalities that are as bomb dot com as ours? ;)

PS. I get butterflies every time I'm around her, haha.

day 154. [friday night]

While most people were out getting drunk on Halloweekend (credit to Kyle R. Cochran), I did the following:
1. Dance dirty with Seamus ... NOT. I actually didn't dance one bit.

2. Study Human Physiology with Boomer ... NOT. We just colored and made friendship bracelets ;)

3. Watch Wall-E with Kyle ... Sort of, haha. I fell asleep during the last bit of the movie.

Despite not going out, I did have fun just hanging out with some good friends :)

It's that time again where I'm studying for three exams that happen in a row. Ugh.

On a lighter note, today marks the end of the "5th Month" of Project 365! I'm almost close to half way :O

day 150. [messy]

My life resembles the state of my side of the room. A mess.

day 149. [math-e-matix]

Don't let the photo fool you into thinking that the highlight of my day was my roommate coming back, haha. Well, that was one of my highlights, in fact my highlight was when a bunch of people came back today.

In all honesty though, I did a lot of math related homework yesterday. Be it Calculus or me attempting to do my chemistry homework, haha. FAIL.

PS. My bed is the one in the back, the messy one with the Spongebob sheets ;)

day 148. [concert]

I went to go see fun. tonight in concert with Lauren and her friend Porter. I must say, I enjoyed one of the other bands much more than I thought I would. If you get the chance look up Jarrod Gorbel. Good stuff.

day 147. [scrabble]

What did I do with a few of my friends when I got back to school? I played Scrabble. I should add in the fact that I played it horribly. It was bad. It was sad. I don't think I'll be playing it anytime soon ...

day 146. [wildcats]

Don't get me wrong, I've always been proud to have been a Wildcat Athlete. I've always been proud of the other Wildcats that strut their stuff out there. Tonight was just another reason for me to be even more proud to say that I was a Wildcat!!

Way to go ladies! Way to secure a spot in Districts!

day 145. [faux hawk]

So not only did I shave, but I got a haircut. After questioning what I should do, I gave in and got a faux hawk. The last time I did this I was a Junior in high school.

I also helped Sharmaine with her Chemistry & Algebra II. She'll eventually get it. It'll definitely take time :)

Note to self: High School gyms suck when it comes to lighting. Actually, gyms in general suck when it comes to lighting ...

Anyways, nice job tonight ladies! Had me worried there at the end of game two, but way to bounce back and win it in 5!! Good luck on Thursday against Sultan :)

Oh yeah, so I bought Photomatix today, which is really good with HDR stuff. If you're wondering what HDR is, check out this link then. For some really good photos of HDR, check this link out :)

The least you could do then is check out my own HDR that I've worked on. I'm still getting the hang of it, but it's been quite entertaining!

day 143. [hair]

Hiding the hair by wearing a bandanna. Too much hair. It needs to go. Luckily I'll be getting a hair cut this week. I need to shave too.

day 142. [lunch]

Usually when I was home for the summer my Sunday post had to do something with being back home and getting to go to Living Word and LYC. Well, that's what was awesome about today. Don't get me wrong though, my highlight was definitely lunch today, haha.

So, back at school Kyle went to the Cove one time and get this concoction that essentially was a grilled cheese sandwich on steroids.

If you're wondering what's in this sandwich it's the following:

Pepper Jack Cheese
Turkey
Wheat Bread

It was "real good" as Kyle would say. I had it back at school and couldn't wait to make it here at home. That brings me to my other point about Fall Break. I'll admit that the Commons did get better with their food, but nothing can beat home cooked food that's FUH-REE!! Totes love it ;)

day 141. [china city]

I went out to lunch today with Mr. Steven Welch. Rather than hitting up Applebee's we ended up going to China City. The last time I was there I was with his brother Sean, ha.

day 140. [fall break]

Why else would a University of Portland student jump up in joy and click their heels like Kyle? Oh yeah! That's right ... it's because we're on Fall Break this upcoming week!! OH THANK YOU!!

Thanks for taking me to Taco Bell, Sparks. I appreciate the study break that never ended that night, haha.

I don't care if I'm Asian and I'm supposed to be good at math. I hate Calculus. It can go die.

I may not be Catholic anymore, but something about going to mass with a group of guys in my dorm is always fun. It's pretty much the definition of fellowship! ;)

day 136. [kyle]

If I wanted to come up with a creative title for this post, it would actually put an understatement to the day. So, it's as simple as it gets. The title for today is simply, Kyle.

I'm pretty sure I've hung out with him for the past few days, and for the past few hours today. I decided to tag along with him while he got his new soccer cleats. He definitely found a good pair for himself. They also smell really good [seeing as they're new]. Trust me though, a week from today I'm not going to ask him if I can smell them.

Speaking of hanging out, I can say that as I type this I'm on his couch, he's in his bed and we're both watching Pocahontas. WIN!

day 135. [villa maria]

Because I'm not a fan of wearing shirts that are much bigger than I am, and seeing as Villa ran out of medium "Villa Maria" shirts, I found it upon myself to just buy one of the Villa Maria scarves.

I'm not one to tell people they should be jealous of me. If I do though, It's usually about my friends, or how awesome my family. But if there's one thing that you should definitely be jealous of, it's the dorm I live in. Yeah, that's right. Be jealous :)

Hello? It was awesome getting to catch up with friends from Oak Harbor Today. Especially Laura Nagel & Steven Welch :)

What was also fun was getting to hang out with Kyle again tonight. As in just hang out. Nothing too serious, just tons of fun :)

With that, I also got to hang out with Marie [2nd Floor RA in Corrado] and Katie [3rd Floor RA in Corrado]. Courtesy to Vince though [HD in Schoenfeldt] we got to watch House Bunny. I totes love that movie.

I didn’t do any homework today because I felt like I needed to relax from such a long week. *Correction: Long three weeks.

Test corrections aren’t always the best thing, but hey, if we look at it this way I’m going to have a much better grade in the book compared to what would be in it if I didn’t get to do test corrections ;)

day 130. [gorgeous]

Kyle has a gorgeous view from his room, especially when the sun is like such. Despite his gorgeous view, he has a crappy view of the St. John's bridge, bahaha.

PS. Kyle, if you read this, thanks for being there when I finally looked at the exam that I horribly failed.

When was the last time you lived your life as bold as these 4 guys? When was the last time you had a faith so strong that nothing got in the way?

It's worth thinking about, huh?

I'm glad I can go to a school where a Bible Study within the dorms exists ;)
